Meet the Founder/CEO of B.E.A.T.S

Ulicious S. Jones (Steffon), founder and CEO of B.E.A.T.S (Bridging Education Applied Though Sounds). Because of my love for and my history with music, entwined with my desire to help troubled young people, I developed B.E.A.T.S .
I have worked with children and young adults since 1992 starting as a teacher
assistant, substitute teacher and an ISS teacher in public schools as well as private. I have over 25+ years of experience working with students with behavior disorders, attention deficit disorders, and children with IEP’s. As a mentor I have worked with teachers, judges, probation officers and Wrap Around Facilitators, mentoring children in the juvenile detention centers, DCS (Department of Children Services) and foster care. As a mentor I have held contracts with Choices, The Laser Project and Medicaid as a Habilitation Provider mentoring youth in the Wraparound program.
I was a drummer for 7 years in Las Vegas at Remnant Ministries a church founded by Randall Cunningham. Randall Cunningham is a retired NFL Quarterback for the Eagles, Vikings and Dallas Cowboys. As a producer I recorded with entertainers such as Pauli Carman of the group Champaign, Micheal Lane “Mico Wave”, a former member of G unit and a few more. I landed a contract to record music at the Palms Casino Studio in Las Vegas in which Michael Jackson and Mariah Carey is famously known to record.
I am a devoted single father of two wonderful kids ages 8 and 10 years old in which I pour all my wisdom, love and knowledge into daily. Currently I am the Founder, Owner of B.E.A.T.S Music Mentoring in which I Mentor young boys and girls ages 5 to 19 years old, drumming, music productions using the S.T.E.M module, and teaching them how to use music as an outlet to help regulate behaviors. I also teach boys and girls Life and Coping Skills. I have been a drummer for 42 years and a music producer for 30+ years.
I am The New Executive Director of Boys to Men Texas a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to creating communities of empowerment for all teenage boys on their journey to manhood. 25 years ago, Boys to Men was founded in San Diego, California and has been dedicated to working with young men in Texas for over 10 years.
